Exegesis in Early and Late Antiquity
The interpretation of ancient texts has always been an integral part of theology. This conference aims to illustrate the various ways in which the exegetical practices have shaped the theological production of Early and Late Antiquity. Contributions could address, but should not being limited to, the following areas: biblical exegesis, non-biblical exegesis, Trinitarian exegesis, exegesis and liturgy, women and exegesis, exegesis and power, exegesis and emotions, exegesis and creation.

The program includes four plenary lectures (by invitation) and short presentations (20 minutes).
PhD students are particularly encouraged to present their work in the conference. We also hope to provide fee exemptions for younger scholars.
The conference will be held in English.
All scholars are kindly invited to forward the abstracts (200 words) to lav.cer[at]cas.au.dk no later than the 31st January 2022.
